Orofacial Myology
At our clinic, we help children harmonize the way their facial muscles and tongue work together to support healthy breathing, swallowing, and dental alignment. Our therapists guide families through specialized exercises designed to correct habits like tongue thrusting or mouth breathing, ensuring the mouth rests in its most natural and functional position. By addressing these foundational patterns early, we pave the way for clearer speech, better sleep, and optimal facial development as your child grows.
Feeding Therapy
At our clinic, we provide a supportive space for children to overcome the sensory and physical challenges that make mealtime difficult or stressful. Language and Literacy

Creating Positive Experiences
Kids Abilities Indiana is a pediatric clinic on the south side of Indianapolis that provides both speech therapy and occupational therapy services. We treat children from birth to 21 and believe that there are no limits in what our clients can achieve, ONLY POSSIBILITIES.
Sensory regulation, making meaningful connections, educating family members, and building intrinsic motivation are at the foundation of how we treat our clients.

Kids Abilities welcomed us with open arms when we moved to the area about 4 years ago! Ever since then, they have become like our second family! We have worked with several of the therapists here and have enjoyed each and every one of them! …we have been traveling to Kids Abilities twice a week since the fall of 2019, and just after Covid, we added OT to Connor’s schedule too. These ladies do things differently than any other clinic we have worked with. They are a team in every sense of the word. Monica and Jen love their jobs and all the kids, and it shows. They do an amazing job of screening and training the new therapists. They all work together to treat the whole child, not just focusing on their specialty. And did I mention that speech is a full hour? A FULL HOUR!!! That is an absolute game changer for my yet-to-be-verbal child. I tell anyone who will listen that this is the best group of pediatric therapists out there. My son attends a speech and language group with Miss Ashley. He is excited to go to group every week. Miss Ashley does a wonderful job preparing meaningful and engaging activities. She clearly communicates the work they do during each session and provides us with resources to continue practicing skills at home.
